Tadeusz "Tad" Menert Scholarship

Key Criteria:
*Need based, available to students at Centennial High School and Poudre Community Academy, no minimum GPA requirement.

The Tadeusz “Tad” Menert Scholarship Fund was established by “Tad” Menert’s family to honor his commitment to education. Throughout his lifetime, Tad stressed the importance of education.

This scholarship is available to graduating seniors at Centennial High School or Poudre Community Academy who have not attained sufficient academic achievement to qualify them for other scholarships. An essay describing how the applicant has dealt with challenges and difficulties is required. There is no minimum GPA requirement.

Awards are for post-secondary, or continuing education or training at any accredited 2 or 4 year college, university, technical school, vocational or certification program in Colorado.

Recipients of this award may reapply for up to three years, in accordance with the Community Foundation’s scholarship policies.

The applicant must demonstrate financial need, to be documented by applicant’s FAFSA Report.

All scholarship awards will be paid directly to educational institutions.

Preference is given to students who want to pursue journalism or liberal arts, such as music, theater, or visual arts.
